Brian does a great job squeezing as much as he can into a 30 minute lesson. He has quickly learned my skill level and what I hope to learn, and has responded to both by giving me both lessons and practice that challenge without being too difficult. Thanks, Brian!

Brian is a wonderful, versatile guitar instructor. My two daughters flourished with Brian as their guitar instructor. For seven years (2009-2016), we had the privilege of observing their musical growth with an exceptional instructor. In our household, we have a budding classical guitarist and a rock & roll guitarist. Brian caters to the needs of each student whether he/she is a classical guitarist, rock & roll guitarist, novice guitarist, or an experienced guitarist.

My son took lessons with Brian since he was 9 and we were very lucky to find such a great instructor for 3 years. His method of teaching was very easy, especially for a young child, and he made it fun allowing him to select songs that he was interested in. Brian is very confident and finds an ease in teaching which made for a much more impactful lesson. He is an immensely talented musician and my son benefited from his experience even teaching him ways to modify and improvise popular songs. His students will be lucky to have him as an instructor and I whole-heartedly give him the highest review/recommendation possible.

I’m an older man who has played guitar for many years using three chords and strumming mostly country songs. I wanted to expand my knowledge of the guitar by learning some lead, chord structure, and finger picking styles. Brian opened up a whole new world of guitar for me. He is a great instructor with patience and a wonderful style of play. I would recommend him for people of all ages.

He really helped me understand the guitar. He always was patient with me even when though I didn’t practiced sometimes. He is really good with kids and adults alike. Both my dad and I took listens from him and loved it. He taught us many different genres. He himself is a very talented guitar player. I definitely would recommend him as a teacher to anyone.

My kids LOVED having Brian as a guitar teacher. My daughter was 9 and my son was 11 when we sought him out as a teacher. Learning a new instrument can be frustrating, but Brian was very encouraging and patient at every lesson. He not only helped my children learn to play music they enjoyed, but he improved their technique and ability to read music. Brian is an excellent teacher, and I have already recommended him to a friend in the Cleveland area.

My daughter began taking classical guitar lessons with Brian in the summer of 2013 when she was eight years old. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was able to keep her interested and motivated in the beginning when practicingwas tedious, which culminated into her being accepted into a middle school classical guitar program. He is patient with children and an excellent teacher.

Brian is a great teacher. Both my son and I have taken lessons with him in jazz, blues, rock, and rockabilly for years. Brian is very patient, and very observant. He not only works with the student in instruction, but is also very encouraging and motivational. He also shares as much insight and resources that he can in order to keep the student interested in the instrument.
Brian has earned the following qualifications from CWRU’s Youth Work Institute.
